How to Choose Between the Akashic Records, Reiki, or Tarot

People who are interested in seeking spiritual guidance often find themselves faced with a wide variety of options: holistic therapies, energy-based practices, and various types of readings. There are so many alternatives that it’s often hard to know which one is best suited to what you’re going through.

Of the three tools I work with—the Akashic Records, Reiki, and Tarot—I’m going to explain what each one is used for. All three are tools for spiritual guidance; all three can help you navigate difficult times; and all three operate in a dimension that goes beyond the visible. But each has its own unique approach, and choosing the right one makes all the difference.

What Are the Akashic Records and When to Use Them

The Akashic Records are, simply put, a kind of energetic library where information about each person’s soul is stored. When I access your Akashic Records, I gain insight into your spiritual journey, your lessons, your past lives, messages from your guides, and much more.

A Reading is the perfect opportunity when you’re going through a period of deeper self-reflection. It’s ideal when you need to understand the “why” behind something you’re experiencing, when you feel that certain patterns are repeating themselves and you want to understand their origin, or when you’re in the midst of a transformative phase and need a broader perspective on your journey.

It is also the ideal tool for exploring existential questions: your purpose, your gifts, your karmic connections, and your past lives. These are topics that other tools cannot address with the same depth, because they require access to information that goes far beyond the immediate present.

What Is Reiki and When Should You Choose It?

Reiki is an energy healing technique that works directly on your energy body, balancing your chakras and helping to release physical, emotional, and mental tension. Unlike the Records, it is not a tool for information, but rather for energy transformation.

Reiki is the best choice when you’re feeling worn out, stressed, anxious, or having trouble sleeping, or when you’re going through an emotionally intense period and need a moment of calm. It’s also very useful as a preventive measure, to take care of yourself before imbalances become more apparent.

During my remote Reiki sessions, I connect with your energy, assess the state of your chakras, and channel energy to the centers that need it most. At the end, you’ll receive a report detailing my observations and practical recommendations. It’s a space for you to receive, relax, and let the energy do its work.

What Is the Tarot and When to Use It

Tarot is a tool that sheds light on your present and reveals the options available to you in a specific situation. The cards do not predict the future or tell you what to do; rather, they offer a broader perspective on what you are experiencing so that you can make decisions from a more mindful place.

A Tarot reading is ideal when you have very specific questions—about a job, a relationship, an important decision, a project, or a connection. It’s the most concrete of the three tools, because it allows you to ask about specific situations and receive practical guidance on how to move forward.

If the Akashic Records are like a panoramic view of your soul, the Tarot is like a flashlight that shines on a specific corner of your life. They are complementary approaches, each with a different scope. Sometimes you need to understand the whole map, and other times you just need to know what’s happening on a specific street.

How to Know Which One Is Right for You

When someone isn't sure which tool to choose, I usually ask a very simple question: What do you really need today? The answer usually gives you a clue.

If you feel you need to gain a deeper understanding of what you’re going through, the Akashic Records are likely the way to go. If you feel you need to heal, release, and balance your energy, Reiki is the best choice. If you feel you need specific guidance regarding a particular decision or situation, the Tarot will serve you best.

It’s also perfectly fine to combine different tools. Many people choose to have a Record reading to understand a process, and then a Reiki session a few weeks later to support the integration. Others alternate between Tarot for specific decisions and Record readings for times of deeper exploration. There’s no single “right” way to use them.

What These Tools Have in Common

Beyond their differences, there is one important thing that these three practices have in common: none of them makes decisions for you. They are not designed to provide you with definitive answers or to relieve you of the responsibility for your own choices.

The Records and the Tarot provide you with information and clarity so you can make better decisions. Reiki helps you balance your energy so you can navigate your journey with greater inner strength. In all three cases, their purpose is to equip you with more tools, not to replace your own path.

For me, that’s one of the most beautiful aspects of spiritual work: it’s not about handing over your power to a tool or a therapist, but about finding ways to reconnect with yourself so you can make more conscious decisions, heal what needs healing, and move forward with greater confidence.

And If You Still Don't Know Where to Start

If you're still unsure after reading this, don't worry—it's perfectly normal. Many people come to me without knowing exactly what they need, and that's precisely where a good conversation begins. Sometimes, by talking a little about what you're going through, we can figure out together which tool is best suited to your current situation.

You can message me on WhatsApp and tell me a little about what you're going through. From there, we can figure out together which option will work best for you. There's no rush and no obligation: it's just a conversation to help guide you.

If you'd like to learn more about each option, you can visit the pages for my Akashic Records, Reiki, and Tarot services, where I explain in detail how I work and what you can expect from each session.
